At just four years old, RR Jaynie’s Jewel is already measuring 70” T2T — with years of growth still ahead — and she has brough us Aussie acres Crown Jewel from Expedite (Cowboy Catchit Chex × Horseshoe J Innovate). Her sire HL Heads Up is by 401K (Drag Iron × Horseshoe J Important) out of HL Tuff’s Stardom (Cowboy Tuff Chex × WS Sun Star), threading both Drag Iron and Cowboy Tuff Chex directly through her paternal line — two of the most impactful horn-building sires in TLBAA history present in the second generation. Her dam Hot Jaynie PC306 carries the legendary Hot Jaynie cow family through Hot Playboy (Hot Spots 7 × JP Grand Anne), with the maternal foundation going back through MS Grand Jaynie PC76 (GR Grand Unlimited × Jaynie 698) — a producing family with documented generational depth rarely seen in a four-year-old cow. Jaynie’s Jewel is a half-sister to HL Head Over Heels, who sold for $360,000 as a futurity heifer off the same HL Heads Up sire, and she carries all four major Longhorn bloodlines — JR Grand Slam, Drag Iron, Cowboy Tuff Chex, and Hubbells — in a single pedigree. We are excited to see if she will anchor one of our maternal lines beginning with Aussie Acres Jaynie's Diamond and Aussie Acres Crown Jewel, both real treasures!
